Since the beginning of my professional legal career, I have always held a deep regard for justice and the integrity of our criminal justice system. Today, I seek to preserve justice by defending the rights and interests of those charged with various offenses in New York State. I aggressively fend off any attempts the prosecution might take to undermine my client's rights in order to secure a conviction. The nature or degree of an alleged offense does not change the fact that everyone has certain rights as individuals and as residents of New York State.

I began my legal career in 2002 when I graduated with my juris Doctorate from St. John's University School of Law. As a newly licensed attorney, I was given my first job as a prosecuting attorney at the Rockland County District Attorney's Office. During this time, I aided in the Office's efforts to prosecute defendants for a wide variety of criminal offenses. After a short while, I was promoted to serve as a Senior Assistant District Attorney, wherein I handled all types of felony offenses. I finished my tenure at the Office as the head of the Driving While Intoxicated Bureau, managing and supervising all alcohol related offenses, ranging from simple Driving While Intoxicated charges to complex Vehicular homicides.

In 2007, my view towards criminal law changed, but my passion for justice remained the same. I founded the Law Office of David D. Narain in order to preserve the integrity of our justice system from the standpoint of the defendant. Today, I remain committed to providing expert, criminal defense representation to those facing a wide variety of charges throughout New York State.
